What is it?
We’ll kick the day off with a huge welcome in the Primrose Potter Salon. Hear what’s in store for the day and get pumped for a big day of live music event planning!

TOUR
Melbourne Recital Centre Tour
What is it?
Melbourne Recital Centre houses two of the greatest acoustic spaces for live music in the world: the 1000-seat Elisabeth Murdoch Hall and the intimate Primrose Potter Salon. On a 40-minute guided tour, you’ll receive a backstage pass to learn about the design of the building and performance spaces, check out the large artwork collection, and have the full artist experience. 25 spots only, so sign up early at The Push HQ!

WORKSHOP
Creating Content

What is it?
In this workshop discover tips and skills to create content for your events to make the biggest impact on social media.
Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of marketing and branding and be ready to create content. The presentation offers the audience the following objectives: understanding the background of Tik Tok and Instagram reels, learning best practices, understanding the impact on the creative industries and learning how to create content.

Small town, Big event:
Regional and Remote FReeZA Events
(FReeZA Horsham)
What is it?
What’s different about running FReeZA events in regional and remote areas? Hear from Horsham Rural City Council’s FReeZA team on how they approach the challenges and opportunities of running regional events. Learn about their experiences running Pride Proms, hosting live music at a national Motocross event and painting the towns Skate bowl.

Event Management (Beginner)
What is it?
Perfect for FReeZA newbies, or as a refresher for FReeZA workers, this workshop will cover all the aspects of running a FReeZA event: types of events, roles, budgets, logistics, creative visions, and how the day might run!

What is it?
In this workshop we will split participants into teams to dream up their FReeZA event, refining practical tools such as worksheets, runsheets, budgets and risk considerations!

FReeZA Workers x Office for Youth
What is it?
This is your opportunity to chat to the FReeZA Program Managers from the Department of Fairness, Families and Housing (DFFH) at the Office for Youth. You'll be able to ask questions, discuss our struggles and triumphs and aim to learn from each other and find new ways to streamline our work and increase our impact. So, bring your stories and ideas, and let's work together to make the FReeZA program even more successful.

What is it?
This session will focus on the capacity building training workshop opportunities available to FReeZA providers. We will discuss the training workshop uplift that is currently underway and how this will impact future training workshops.

WORKSHOP
What Would You Do? Interactive problem solving
What is it?
What WOULD You Do? Events are dynamic, evolving beasts, and nothing ever goes entirely to plan! In this session, go to the meeting point of the Australian band you were appointed to at the start of the day. Work with other FReeZA team members and workers to dream up possible solutions to impossible problems! Scenarios will be provided on arrival to your meeting point.
NOTE: At the beginning of the day, you will be assigned an Australian band as your group for the day (check your lanyard!)
You can then match this band with their location on the map as that's where you'll meet your group for the "What Would You Do?" session after lunch

The Push and friends
What is it?
Come visit The Push HQ to engage in activities, sign up for Melbourne Recital Centre Tours, ask all the questions and meet our event partners nearby! We'll be joined by Green Music Australia, Multicultural Arts Victoria, One Music, APRA AMCOS, Arts Access and Regional Arts Victoria who will be able to provide resources and share what they can do to help make your FReeZA events rock.
