Spotify x The Push Partnership
Spotify and The Push have announced a multi-year partnership!
Spotify has announced a first-of-its-kind, AU$200,000 multi-year partnership with The Push, Australia’s most respected youth music organisation dedicated to creating safer, fairer and more inclusive music communities for young people.
The partnership represents the largest-ever single donation received by The Push, as it enters its 40th year of operation, and is another step in Spotify’s commitment to invest in the future of the Australian music ecosystem. It will assist The Push in its work to build credible, visible and measurable youth pipelines into the Australian music industry — spanning education, access, advocacy and discovery.
The donation will directly support The Push’s new ten-year strategy, A National Plan for Young Australians and Music: a roadmap that sets out actions for government, industry and communities to ensure every young person, regardless of postcode, income or identity, can participate and thrive in Australian music.
The three-year partnership will also deliver:
Access, education and real-world pathways into live music and the broader industry
Mental health, wellbeing and safe cultural spaces — positioning music as a protective and connective force for young people
Equity, representation and inclusion, particularly for underrepresented communities
This work is in the service of ensuring the next generation of Australian artists, industry leaders and communities can thrive, while contributing meaningfully to the sustainability of Australia’s music ecosystem.
