Music Industry Careers (Introduction)

This workshop will introduce the music industry and how to build a sustainable career, with a focus on key roles and skills.

Music Industry Careers (Introduction) is an entry level workshop that explores the jobs that are available in Music Industry – and helps you find the perfect career for you!

Throughout the session, participants will map out the broader music ecosystem, from touring to recording music, media, management and behind the scenes careers. The workshop unpacks the wide range of jobs available and indentifies the core skills that are required.

Through completing the worksheets and group activies, attendees will identify their existing strengths and consider pathways into further study or work, allowing them to build a sustainable future in the Creative Industries.
