Build Your Music Industry Toolkit (Introduction)

Build Your Music Industry Toolkit (Introduction) is a practical workshop designed to help emerging artists and music industry workers set up the foundations of their career.

Over two hours, participants will break down how to run their creative project as a business in Australia. The session covers business structures and ABNs, registering with relevant industry bodies, understanding contracts and invoices, and organising finances.

Throughout the workshop, attendees will also explore goal setting, the importance of networking and community building and understanding how to identify skills and learning opportunities that will support their creative project’s next steps.
