Introduction to Event Management (Introduction)

This workshop will focus on introductory concepts for Event Management.

An Introduction to Event Management is a practical, entry level workshop which unpacks what it takes to deliver a successful, live event. Across two hours, participants will explore the full life cycle of an event – from early creative visions, through to planning, delivery and post event evaluations.

The workshop unpacks different types of events, such as in person, online or hybrid, and discusses the roles and responsibilities that bring them to life.

Supported by group discussions and hands on activities, attendees will map out event concepts, understand logistics, budgets, timelines and team roles. Upon completion of this workshop, participants can further skills through the Practical Tools of Event Management (Intermediate) workshop.

Facilitating workshops with The Push has been such a highlight for me in my career.
