White Night Reimagined – The Push Stage
Next month, some of Australia’s best artists will take to Melbourne’s city centre, as part of White Night Reimagined – at a free, all-ages event presented by Victoria’s leading youth music organisation The Push Inc. Happening on Sunday 25 August at the forecourt of Arts Centre Melbourne, The Push have programmed a free outdoor stage featuring Ball Park Music, Thelma Plum, Tyne James Organ, TOTTY and Tulliah.
Ball Park Music have just wrapped up a mammoth national tour – taking in regional centres across the country. Their most recent hit ‘Exactly As You Are’ scored a No. 18 placement in triple j’s fan-voted Hottest 100 countdown for 2018. With four ARIA Chart topping albums under their belt, the four-piece come are set to play their biggest hits, in a very special White Night Reimagined exclusive.
Joining Ball Park Music will be indie-pop/folk wunderkind Thelma Plum. In between numerous dates as part of a huge national tour throughout August, Thelma Plum will be celebrating her newest album Better In Blak with thousands of Melbourne music-loving fans.
Tyne-James Organ has just released a fresh new single ‘Something New’, and new is an accurate reflection of the direction the Melbourne artist is headed in. The rock-infused number hears Organ take a dark and thrilling new direction.
Having just completed a sold-out national tour with party rockers Skegss, Wollongong’s TOTTY have earnt themselves a brand-new reputation for larger-than-life rock songs. The trio will return to Melbourne for this very special show.
The final piece of The Push Stage puzzle is Tulliah – the indie-folk darling currently in Year 12 completing VCE hailing from the Mornington Peninsula – who has been described as a “poised writer and performer” and a “promising” talent by Tone Deaf.
