The Push is looking for 15 dedicated and enthusiastic tastemakers aged 15 – 17 years to lead the delivery of our all-ages event with Mallrat and Tiffi at Vivid Sydney, taking place on opening night of the festival!

As a member of the Vivid Sydney – All-Ages Events Team, you will participate in a five-week training program, with access to hands on experience, skills development and networking opportunities in the contemporary music industry, across a range of areas including stage management, technical and sound production, promotions and marketing, video production, photography, artist liaison and bookings.

All-Ages Events Team meetings are fortnightly on Wednesday nights, 4:30pm - 6:30pm at Destination NSW, Sydney and online.

Applications now open and close 5PM AEDT 2 April 2024.

+ What are the requirements?

All participants must:

  • Be aged between 15 – 17 years old
  • Be able to attend at least 80% of fortnightly meetings (video/teleconference is available for rural and regional participants) for the duration of the five-week program
  • Be able to attend the Vivid Sydney All-Ages event on Friday 24 May 2024
  • Be involved as an active participant of the program until June 2024.

+ Who can apply?

While the program is open to all young people in New South Wales aged 15 – 17, priority access will be given to:

  • First Nations young people
  • Young people of colour
  • Young people from low-income households
  • Young women
  • Non-binary young people
  • Young people with a disability
  • LGBTQIA+ young people

+ What will I gain from participating in this program?

Participation in the program is free.

The Push offers financial subsidies for internet access and travel expenses to participants who may be experiencing financial hardship.
