So what exactly does it involve? You’ll need to distribute posters and cards around all the relevant places – like at your school or at shops in your local community. We can also provide you with a blurb to submit to any newsletters, web forums or publications that might publish it.

Street Teamers will be rewarded for all their hard work! Just by sending in photos of your street team efforts, you will have the chance to receive prizes such as mags, stickers, CDs and more... and you could even win limited free tickets to events!

Sounds good, doesn’t it? To join The Push Street Team, head to the website.

Winterun

Following on from the success of The Full Effect (2004) and Welcome to.. (2006), Winterun have captured their live energy with album number three. Into the Underground sounds like a truckload of logs set loose down a mountainside. It’s a rolling blend of infectious heavy rock – chockfull of chunky riffs, grooves and stomp.

They’re just about to tour nationally with Shihad, but they are looking to play all ages gigs as well.

Lover

Lover are a three piece hyper-pop/indie-rock act drawing inspiration from the likes of XTC, The Cure, and Bloc Party. Lover’s 2007 self titled debut release turned heads with the award winning dance floor cutter Never (2006 ABC Newcastle Music Awards, Best Rock Performance), recorded under the sonic guidance of Rob Taylor (The Whitlams, INXS). After recording a full-length album, produced by four time ARIA award nominee Rob Taylor, and securing a management deal, Lover are stocking up on hair product, pulling on their skinny legs, and preparing to dance their way through the biggest year of their lives.
